Kay

Kay got into a car accident a few years ago.

Since then it has been difficult for her to hold down a job, due to the related ongoing health issues. Kay applied for disability but it was denied and she is in the appeals process. She moved in with her mom, and her mom works hard at the hospital to try to provide for the both of them. Kay would rather work, but she needs to find a job that can accommodate her back issues and that isn’t easy.

Kay attended a few Transformational Ministry(T4M) classes in 2020, before COVID shut the classes down. Since that time, she has been regularly visiting the ladies at Faith Presbyterian Church’s Personal Care Ministry. She has also been getting clothing from Angel’s Touch Clothing Ministry at Lady Lake United Methodist Church.

Earlier this year, Kay called the Clearinghouse and she was so excited.  She gave her life to Jesus, and she wanted to share the joyous news. She had decided to get baptized and join the Catholic church! The difference in her voice was notable.  She had joy and hope.  She was so excited, she invited the ladies from the Personal Care Ministry, Angel’s Touch, and staff at Love INC to her baptism.  Two staff members and the volunteer from Angel’s Touch attended her baptism and shared in her joy.

Through faithful investment, God worked such an amazing transformation in Kay. Volunteers loved her and prayed for her over a long period of time, always pointing her to Jesus when working with her.  And others in her life did the same thing.  And now she is a member of the Kingdom! There is no greater joy.

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives in your community? Transformation happens because of investment in Love INC.  Your involvement is vital.
