Rita’s family doubled in size overnight.

She is a single mom of 3 kids. Her sister lost custody of her kids, and Rita was suddenly caring for three additional children.

Rita called Love In the Name of Christ for help. A Clearinghouse volunteer listened to her story and prayed with her. Through the Intake and Verification process, volunteers learned that Rita had moved into a larger home so she could accommodate all of the children.

Site Visit Volunteers visited her home and determined she needed five dressers so all the kids would have a place to put their clothing. The Furniture and Appliance Ministry delivered the dressers. Now the children can feel more at home in their place.

Your generous donations provided Rita’s family with the furniture that was needed. However, Love INC is not just about meeting needs, we are about meeting people where they’re at and caring for them holistically. Rita will be invited to participate in Journey INC, where she has the opportunity to learn life skills that can take her from striving to thriving. Your partnership ensures that this opportunity is available to her if she chooses to accept it. So many lives are already transforming. We are hopeful that Rita will join them on the Journey.
