A couple of months ago, Jenny received a phone call that upended her life.

A single mom of three children who live at home, Jenny doesn’t typically need help. Circumstances changed rapidly for her in a couple of different areas, and as a result she reached out to Love In the Name of Christ.

When Clearinghouse Volunteers spoke to Jenny, they learned that she had a four bedroom house that she purchased a couple of years ago and is normally able to meet her budget. However, she had recently started a new job and then broke her hand. Her hope is that they will hold the job for her, but that is uncertain.

Making matters more complicated, Jenny has recently taken in her niece and nephew. She got the call that their parents were unable to care for them due to addiction, and Jenny became a safe place for the two additional children.

The littlest one sleeps in a crib that Jenny has. But she needed bunk beds, so that all the children could have a place to sleep and maximize their shared bedroom space.

Generous donations provided exactly what Jenny needed. The Furniture and Appliance Ministry delivered the bunk beds. Jenny called the Clearinghouse right away and expressed her deep gratitude.

Jenny took a step of faith when she took in her niece and nephew. Investment in Love INC made it possible for us to be there to provide some of the material things that will enable Jenny to provide for them.
