Bella is taking steps to improve the stability of her family and achieve financial independence.

She enrolled in school to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. A single mom with two kids, she was stunned when she lost her job because they wouldn’t work around her school schedule.

Bella managed to find a new job that was willing to be flexible. This was a step in the right direction, but she she still couldn’t afford the things she needed for the semester.

She reached out to Love In the Name of Christ and spoke to the Clearinghouse. Through the intake and verification process, Clearinghouse Volunteers listened and got to know Bella. They learned about her hopes and dreams, and her strengths and struggles.

One of the main things Bella needed in order to be successful in school was a laptop. Generous donations allowed Love INC to purchase one for her. She will also be able to use this laptop when she starts practicing as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Bella is committed to going from striving to thriving in her life. The Clearinghouse Volunteers told her about the Journey INC program, and she was immediately interested. She signed up and attended the Boundaries class that is currently going. The load she carries is very heavy, but she is very motivated.
