When Megan got temporary custody of her three great grandchildren, she already had one granddaughter living with her.

Megan owns her home, and was able to get cash assistance to help with expenses for the three extra children. Her monthly expenses were not a problem for her. However, the additional expense of providing furniture for the children was more than she could handle alone.

​Thankfully, Megan reached out to Love INC for help with the furniture. Once she got through the Clearinghouse process, Site Visit Volunteers met her at her home to see what her exact needs were. They found Megan was sleeping on the couch, and the children were all sharing her bed. The dining room table they had was not large enough for all of them to eat together, and the cloth sofa was suffering the effects of potty accidents. ​

Because of YOUR generosity, the Furniture and Appliance Ministry was able to provide abundantly for Megan and her grandchildren! They now have a dining room table and chairs that they can fit the entire family around. They also have a leather sofa that will withstand the potty accidents. All the children have a bed to sleep in, and they now have three dressers, to store their clothing.
