Trauma is something Laticia is all too familiar with.

Her third child was abducted by her abusive ex-husband. She was hiding from him in a local domestic violence shelter. It is through the shelter that she was introduced to Love INC. Arrangements were being made to set her up in a new household and she needed furniture.

When Site Visit volunteers met Laticia and her two teenagers at their home, they found it neat and clean but very empty. They had the beds they needed, and nothing else to speak of. Laticia’s family needed extravagant love.

​​This is where you stepped in. Because YOU give abundantly, the Furniture and Appliance Ministry was able to deliver abundantly. The entire living room was furnished, and they received dressers and nightstands for the bedrooms.

Nothing can change what Laticia has experienced in the past. But you have begun to show her that she is loved and valued by God. You gave her and her children a fresh start with a comfortably furnished home as they take steps toward recovery and healing.
