children in your community will experience the wonder of Christmas this year in a way that would not be possible otherwise.

Most of the families that are involved in Christmas Blessings for 2021 were able to shop for their children on Monday. There was much joy and gratitude among the volunteers and caregivers.

​Janet was one of the caregivers that shopped for her family Monday. Janet has a big heart for children. Although she has raised her own children, she now is a foster mom and has custody of two of her grandchildren. About four months ago, Janet was caring for two foster children in addition to her two grandchildren. Then four foster children were placed with Janet.

Her husband is the only one working right now because Janet is on disability. They aren’t receiving any support for the six foster children or the two grandchildren at this time. Janet reached out to Love INC for help with Christmas, and is extremely grateful to have been able to receive the help they needed.

When asked what Christmas Blessings means to her family, Janet became emotional. She teared up in the middle of Walmart as she expressed, “Christmas Blessings means the world to my family…and I just want to thank you guys so very much because it means the world to me that you guys would help me give them what they deserve because they’re beautiful kids – all of them. I know God has sent you to us so that they can have the Christmas they deserve.”
