Let me tell you about Faith. Faith has a daughter. Faith has a boyfriend. They both have learning disabilities. While she has been approved for disability benefits, her boyfriend is in the middle of the lengthy process. Because of their learning disabilities they have been gaining then losing employment repeatedly.

Due to this instability, their expenses exceed their income each and every month. They are getting further and further behind as time goes on.

Having heard about Clothe-A-Kid, Faith reached out to request much needed back to school clothing for her daughter. At the same time, she also requested a bed.

Clearinghouse Volunteers spoke to her for the intake process. Faith was able to participate in the 2020 Clothe-A-Kid program for the back to school clothes. Site Visit Volunteers visited Faith at her home to verify her needs. A short time later, dedicated volunteers from the Furniture and Appliance Ministry delivered a bed.

Each step of the way, the heartbeat of our volunteers is that Faith would know how precious she is to God. Your generous donations of time and funds make this possible.

The Clearinghouse reached out to Faith to see how her experience with Clothe-A-Kid went, and during that conversation she was invited to participate in Life Skills Courses.  There, volunteers can invest in her relationally and in a more focused way. Prayerfully she can experience the blessing of a life transformed by putting into practice the new skills she will learn there.
