Meet Brendan.

Brendan is a student who has been attending Love INC’s Comprehensive Transformational Ministry (Comp T4M – Learn more here!) with his family since 2019.  He and his family have taken part in the Clothe-A-Kid, Christmas Blessings, and Birthday Box programs. When he began attending the T4M kids’ programming at TriCounty Baptist Church,  Brendan was a faithful attendee – but a reluctant participant. Typically he could be found sitting apart from the other kids. He didn’t seem interested in playing the games, singing the worship songs, or answering the questions after the lessons.

​Over the months that he has been involved the volunteers have continued to teach Christ-centered curriculum. They built relationships with all the students, and have prayed for them and their families. Through this they have begun to see change in Brendan’s participation.  When the Bible is being taught – he is listening with interest. He is the first one outside at the game area. He is worshiping God during song time. He is getting review questions right during Bible story quizzing.  Most importantly, he is memorizing Scripture.

​​Part of the T4M program for adults is graduation ceremonies when they complete a course. During one of these, the T4Kids sang “How Great is our God,”  complete with hand motions, in front of all the parents and volunteers. What a joy and answer to prayer to see Brendan up there, along with about 15 other students, proclaiming how GREAT our God really is. As a tall kid, he did stand in the back of the stage, but he was singing. He was doing the motions. Will you pray for his heart as he and his family attend these Transformational classes and participate in the Love INC programming in the months ahead? God is not finished with Brendan! The exposure to key biblical truths and the core of the Gospel that he is receiving at T4M will continue to point him to Jesus and His transforming love.
